Steven Aul graduated from Ball State with a bachelor’s degree in accounting; he holds ChFC, CLU, and RICP designations and is an Investment Advisor Representative. He is a recognized financial commentator, co-author, radio host, and licensed insurance agent.
Known to his colleagues and clients as a seasoned and experienced independent financial professional, he regularly conducts financial workshops and hosts The Aul Financial Hour — Your Money Matters radio show on 97.1 FM every Sunday at 11 a.m. Steve has also co-written articles for CNN Money, Fortune, and Money.
Steve resides in Ballwin with his wife, Lori, and their dog, Sophie. His passions include motorcycles, scuba diving, Corvettes, volunteering with local charities, participating in church activities, and spending time with his family.
Mel Brandon has been an educator and insurance professional in the financial industry for over 30 years. From 1999 to 2010, Mel acted as a mentor to other financial professionals across the country. Much of that time was also spent as a highly sought-after public speaker and trainer.
Mel lives in Chesterfield and enjoys exploring the many cultural aspects of St. Louis. Mel loves to write and create materials used to help people better understand the financial and insurance world. Mel co-wrote the published articles previously mentioned and produces much of the presentation material used in the practice.
